Job summary

Summa Health – Akron City Campus is seeking a Noninvasive Cardiology Tech for part-time 20 hours per week (8:00a–4:30p, Mon-Fri, variable locations). The role covers Holter monitoring, MCOT, and related education for patients and families.

You will download data, process studies, and ensure proper paperwork completion. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and ability to operate Holter and event recorders.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; health care courses encouraged.
• Facility approved BLS is required.
• Prior health field experience preferred.
• Ability to learn application/removal of Holters and event recorders.
• Ability to analyze Holter monitor data.

Responsibilities

• Performs full Holter, Event recorder, and MCOT monitoring from hookup to results processing.
• Educates patient/family and documents procedures.
• Downloads results and completes required paperwork and data entry.
• May assist clinical staff with patient instructions and procedural confirmation.
• Supports front desk duties as needed.
