Job summary

Summa Health - Barberton Campus is seeking an EKG Tech II on a per diem/PRN basis with days/afternoons and a variable schedule.

You will perform, edit, and confirm routine and specialized EKGs, complete all necessary paperwork including computer entry, and assist with event recorders as needed. Basic Holter monitor and event recorder experience is helpful.

Strong attention to accuracy, patient interaction, and teamwork are essential; BLS/CPR within 6 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent with healthcare coursework.
• Prior EKG experience or certification is required.
• Must have BLS/CPR within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with patients with dignity and respect.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Performs, edits and confirms routine and specialized EKGs (right sided; rhythm strips; etc).
• Completes all appropriate paperwork including computer entry.
• Assists with event recorders as needed.
