Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Cardiology Technician I for Heart and Vascular Non Invasive Diagnostic Cardiology. Performs ECG, dynamic ECG, signal-averaged ECG, and exercise tolerance testing, ensuring accurate data calculation and recognition of potential life-threatening cardiac events.

Location: Hershey, PA. Full-time, 1.0 FTE, day shift. Training and development opportunities available; tuition discount program for employees and dependents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Three (3) months of related experience required.
• Eligible for Certified Cardiology Technician exam with Active Certification Status strongly encouraged within two (2) years from employment date.
• BLS certification (CPR) required within six (6) months from employment date.

Responsibilities

• Performance of electrocardiography, dynamic-electrocardiography, signal-averaged electrocardiography, and exercise tolerance procedures.
