Job summary

Penn State Health in Palmyra, PA is seeking a Cardiology Technician II to perform electrocardiography, dynamic electrocardiography, signal-averaged ECG and exercise tolerance testing. You will calculate data and recognize potentially life-threatening cardiac irregularities during daytime shifts.

The position requires a high school diploma with a non-invasive technology program and at least one year of experience, plus BLS/ACLS certification.

  • One (1) year of effective experience required.
  • BLS (CPR) and ACLS certification required

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for performance of all electrocardiography, dynamic-electrocardiography, signal averaged electrocardiography and exercise tolerance procedures to include calculation of data and the recognition of potential life threatening cardiac irregularities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High school diploma plus graduation from a recognized program in non-invasive technology or equivalency required.
  • One (1) year of effective experience required.
  • BLS (CPR) and ACLS certification required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Active Certification Cardiology Technician (CCT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred.
