Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in Palmyra, PA is seeking a Cardiology Technician I to perform EKGs, halter monitoring, pacemaker tracing, and stress testing. The role supports coordination, planning and delivery of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency, 3 months of related experience, CPR/BLS within 6 months, and eligible for the Cardiology Technician exam within two years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Three (3) months of related experience required.
• Eligible for Certified Cardiology Technician exam strongly encouraged within two (2) years from employment date.
• BLS certification (CPR) required within six (6) months from employment date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and deliver patient care following established policies.
• Perform electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures.
• Conduct halter monitoring, pacemaker traces and stress testing according to procedures.
