Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in Palmyra, PA is seeking a Cardiology Technician I to perform EKGs, halter monitoring, pacemaker tracing, and stress testing. The role supports coordination, planning and delivery of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency, 3 months of related experience, CPR/BLS within 6 months, and eligible for the Cardiology Technician exam within two years.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Coordination, planning and delivery of patient care. Provide quality services by performing electrocardiogram (EKG), halter monitoring, pacemaker tele traces, and stress testing on patients according to established policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Three (3) months of related experience required.
• Eligible for Certified Cardiology Technician exam with Active Certification Status strongly encouraged within two (2) years from employment date.
• BLS certification (CPR) required within six (6) months from employment date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduation from a recognized program in non-invasive technology preferred.
