Job summary

Penn State Health-Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Cardiology Technician II to perform electrocardiography and related procedures in the Heart and Vascular Non-Invasive Diagnostic Lab. The role supports data calculation and recognition of potential life-threatening cardiac events. A 1-year minimum experience and CPR/ACLS are required.

The position is full-time with day shifts, located at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA, with comprehensive benefits and tuition assistance

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus graduation from a recognized program in non-invasive technology or equivalency required.
• One (1) year of effective experience required.
• BLS (CPR) and ACLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiography, dynamic-electrocardiography, signal averaged electrocardiography and exercise tolerance procedures.
• Calculate data and recognize potential life-threatening cardiac irregularities.
• Work in the Heart and Vascular Non-Invasive Diagnostic Cardiology lab.
