Job Summary

We are seeking a Nondestructive Ultrasonic Testing Technician to support our NAVSEA Carderock customer. This position is contingent upon contract award. The candidate should have expertise in inspecting various metal materials and managing a Level III certified NDE Program.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Level III Test Examiner for ultrasonic testing (UT) to perform UT thickness, shear wave, and ToFD per NAVSEA standards
• Certified Level III for phase array UT (PAUT) under ASNT; personnel with ASNT or NAS 410 Level III certifications may be considered
• Ability to generate and approve scan plans, write and approve UT testing procedures, and develop training materials
• Ability to perform medium-duty lifting (up to 25 lbs)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inspecting metals, polymers, and composites, including flat plates, weldments, shapes, and pipes
• Experience managing a Level III certified NDE program per Navy or commercial standards

Additional Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship required due to the sensitive nature of the work.
