Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY seeks an Advisor/Navigator for the Non-Traditional Nursing Program to recruit, advise, and retain non-traditional nursing students from entry to graduation.

The role partners with the School of Nursing and Admissions to streamline enrollment, organize orientation, and help students access campus resources. Strong communication, data analysis, and flexible scheduling are essential to support student success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills with office apps and student information systems.
• Analytical skills to improve student engagement and recruitment.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours if necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Advise non-traditional students and coordinate with SON faculty.
• Assist recruitment with Admissions and Registrar at events.
• Guide students through enrollment and plan degree completion.
• Organize orientation programs for non-traditional students.
• Collaborate with college offices to connect students with resources.
• Maintain advisee records and manage databases.
• Assist with forms and requests to SON and Academic Standards.
• Attend SON meetings and provide input when needed.
• Join SON recruitment planning for events.
• Review Undergraduate Catalog and SON handbook; support accreditation.
• Develop and implement a retention plan with SON faculty.
