Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions is seeking a NonSterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will prepare non-sterile compounds, measure, mix, and package according to prescriptions, collaborating closely with pharmacists to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory compliance, accurate compounding records, and a clean workspace. A High School Diploma is required; PTCB certification is preferred; prior compounding or lab experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification preferred if not a state requirement.
• Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred.
• Must read and understand SOPs and guidelines related to the process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of applicable pharmacy rules and regulations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Strong understanding of USP 795 and USP 800.
• Have working knowledge of pharmacy software.
• Prepare and manage formula and compounding records.
• Compound medications accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with paperwork and inventory as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with confidentiality requirements.

As aNonSterileCompounding Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy team, specializing in the preparation of customized medication formulations. Your responsibilities will include accurately measuring, mixing, and packaging non-sterile compounds according to specific prescriptions and quality standards. You will work closely with pharmacists to ensure the highest level of patient care,maintainclean and organized workspaces, and adhere to safety protocols.Proficiencyin using compounding equipment,a strongattention to detail, and a commitment tomaintainingconfidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of applicable pharmacy rules and regulations

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in a variety of positions locations such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, reach, and walking, for prolonged periods of time
• Potential exposure to chemicals used in the preparation of compounds (some chemicals are classified as toxic and special safety precautions must be taken when working with these chemicals)
• Must be able to use necessary equipment and software such as computers, scanners, or othertechnologydevices as assigned
• Must be able to wear required compounding safety equipment forlong periodsof time whenrequired

Qualifications

• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• PTCB certificationpreferredif not a state requirement

• Must be able to read, understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process
