Job summary

Empower Pharmacy in Houston seeks a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to ensure patient safety and robust operations within our high-growth 503A/503B environment.

You will verify prescriptions, oversee non-sterile compounding, manage release documentation, and partner with Quality, Operations, and Technology to strengthen compliance and throughput. This role emphasizes AI-enabled analytics to detect anomalies, improve records, and accelerate safe, reliable patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of direct experience in compounding and management.
• BSPharm or PharmD required.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience applying AI-enabled analytics in pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and safety.
• Direct daily non-sterile compounding activities with AI-supported workflow.
• Perform final verification and release accountability.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical controls.
• Collaborate across Pharmacy, Quality, Operations, and Technology.
