Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse in non-invasive cardiology to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care. You will work in a 36-hour week, with day shifts, 7a-430p, and duties focused on non-invasive cardiac testing and patient support.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure the safest environment and best patient experience for cardiology patients. Benefits eligible and paid time off are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
