Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Assistant (Full Time, Days) to support the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator. This role provides delegated patient care and logistics support, including patient transport, supply management, and documentation to ensure safe, efficient service.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and BCLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BCLS required within 6 months of employment.
• On-the-job training specific to the Non-Invasive Cardiology department.
• Length of on-the-job training to learn role at NM: 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provides clean and safe environment for patient care by following policy for cleaning and preparation of equipment and rooms.
• Transports patients for required services with proper identification.
• Stocks and maintains par levels of supplies in assigned area.
• Transports documents and performs other errands as required and necessary to provide safe patient care.
• Assists non-invasive cardiology personnel with patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned
