Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Cardiac Device Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory Cardiology setting. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, adherence to professional standards, and advocacy for patient needs to promote optimal health outcomes.

The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule, with potential remote days after independence, and requires cardiology experience and EKG interpretation proficiency.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• CPR certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with at least one-year current experience in EP/Device clinic or 5+ years of cardiovascular experience.
• Proficient in interpretation of EKG/cardiac rhythms/arrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in ambulatory settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and advocate for patient needs; uphold professional standards.
• Lead nursing care with evidence-based practice to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
