Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support in Minnesota. Start ASAP; schedule Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. with weeknight and weekend call; inpatient and outpatient care in a mixed setting.

Epic EMR used; board certification in General Cardiology plus echocardiography certification, ACLS and BLS required. Minnesota licensure preferred. AMN provides malpractice coverage and travel accommodations for contractors.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; weeknight call 5 p.m.–8 a.m.; weekend call Friday 5 p.m.–Monday 8 a.m.
• Provide non-invasive cardiology care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform echocardiograms and related cardiology procedures
• Cover locum tenens need as required

This facility is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; weeknight call 5 p.m.-8 a.m.; weekend call Friday 5 p.m.-Monday 8 a.m.

Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Types of Cases: General cardiology, inpatient rounding, cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms, outpatient cardiology, and echocardiogram interpretation

Electronic Medical Record: Epic

Certifications Required: Board Certified in General Cardiology, Echocardiography Board Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support

Licensure Required: State medical license preferred
