Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support in Mankato, Minnesota. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. with weeknight and weekend on-call; practice includes inpatient and outpatient care.

Required certifications include General Cardiology and Echocardiography, plus ACLS/BLS; state medical license preferred. Epic is used as the EMR; malpractice insurance is arranged by AMN. Competitive pay and travel arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in General Cardiology is required.
• Echocardiography Board Certification is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in- and out-patient non-invasive cardiology care.
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms including transesophageal echocardiography.
• Coordinate care with hospital staff during inpatient rounds and on-call periods.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; weeknight call 5 p.m.-8 a.m.; weekend call Friday 5 p.m.-Monday 8 a.m.

Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Types of Cases: General cardiology, inpatient rounding, cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms, outpatient cardiology, and echocardiogram interpretation

Electronic Medical Record: Epic

Certifications Required: Board Certified in General Cardiology, Echocardiography Board Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support

Licensure Required: State medical license preferred
