Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support in Minnesota. The start date is ASAP with a pay rate of $266.75 - $288.75 per hour. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with weeknight and weekend on-call coverage as outlined.

The role includes inpatient and outpatient practice, with procedures such as cardioversion and echocardiography interpretation. Prior board certification in cardiology and ACLS/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Cardiology required.
• Echocardiography board certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• State medical license preferred for the location.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform general cardiology duties including inpatient rounding and echocardiography interpretation.
• Cover schedule: weekdays with on-call evenings and weekends as specified.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; weeknight call 5 p.m.-8 a.m.; weekend call Friday 5 p.m.-Monday 8 a.m.

Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Types of Cases: General cardiology, inpatient rounding, cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms, outpatient cardiology, and echocardiogram interpretation

Electronic Medical Record: Epic

Certifications Required: Board Certified in General Cardiology, Echocardiography Board Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support

Licensure Required: State medical license preferred
