Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Minnesota. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with weeknight and weekend on-call.

The role involves inpatient and outpatient care, including echocardiography interpretation and various cardiology procedures. Requirements include Board Certification in General Cardiology, Echocardiography Certification, ACLS and BLS, with state medical license preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in General Cardiology.
• Echocardiography Board Certification.
• ACLS and BLS required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform cardiology procedures such as cardioversion and TEE as needed.
• Interpret echocardiograms and collaborate with medical staff.
• Work scheduled hours with on-call obligations as specified.

This facility is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; weeknight call 5 p.m.–8 a.m.; weekend call Friday 5 p.m.–Monday 8 a.m.

Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Types of Cases: General cardiology, inpatient rounding, cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms, outpatient cardiology, and echocardiogram interpretation

Electronic Medical Record: Epic

Certifications Required: Board Certified in General Cardiology, Echocardiography Board Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support

Licensure Required: State medical license preferred
