Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is recruiting a Non-invasive Cardiologist for NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan in Manhattan. The position involves performing nuclear stress tests, EKG stress tests, echo studies, TEE, Holter monitoring, and direct patient care as a panel attending from 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role includes supervising residents, with on-call duties roughly every second to third week, and a competitive base salary with extensive benefits and loan

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Echocardiography.
• Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology.
• Current NYS license (or ability to obtain one).
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology.

Located on First Avenue & 97th Street in Manhattan, it accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits, and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Wages and Benefits

• Annual Base Salary: $340,000* (board eligible); $350,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $469,520** (board eligible) and $480,520** (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. , which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
