Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an experienced store management professional to oversee the Non-Food Department and act as Manager on Duty. You will ensure inventory accuracy, compelling merchandise presentation, and strong customer service while maintaining safety and asset protection standards.

Responsibilities include supervising operations in the absence of the Store Manager, training staff, enforcing cash controls, and executing daily workflows to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to supervise store operations and manage staff in absence of Store Manager.
• Experience in training employees and maintaining cash integrity.

Responsibilities

• Authorize refunds and overrides and sign for deposits.
• Assist in cash accountability, key control, and security practices.
• Manage store in Store Manager/Assistant Manager absence.
• Train and develop non-food department associates and ensure stocking standards.
