Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee the Non-Food Department and overall store operations. You will ensure inventory accuracy, exemplary product presentation, and superior customer service while maintaining a safe environment and safeguarding company assets.

Responsibilities include supervising cash handling, authorizing refunds, training staff, and coordinating with Store/Assistant Managers to meet daily targets and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage Non-Food Department and the store when Manager on Duty.
• Authorize refunds and overrides; maintain cash accountability and deposits.
• Provide training and guidance to associates.
• Ensure proper stocking, presentation, and pricing per planograms and store standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support safety and security procedures.
