Job summary

Alter Trading is seeking a Full Time Production associate in Cheyenne, WY to identify and receive inbound non-ferrous metals for recycling. You will weigh material, enter correct commodity codes, and place items in the proper location.

Responsibilities include weighing at the retail scale, entering customer and product data, processing transactions for payments, and learning to operate forklift, balers, and shaker table in an exposed warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Metal scrap experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass Company's credit check requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service at our retail scale by providing prompt service, weighing material and properly inspecting & identifying material.
• Correctly enter customer and product information into our system.
• Complete and process customer's transaction to issue appropriate payment.
• Learn and operate machines (forklift, balers, shaker table, etc.) to help with the recycling process.
• Work in a warehouse type environment subject to the elements.
