Job summary

MAGMA is seeking a Non-Ferrous Application Engineer to join our U.S. team. You will use MAGMASOFT daily to deliver insights to non-ferrous customers, collaborate with managers, and grow the customer base through technical and sales activities.

You will work across casting processes and support engineering projects while engaging in educational workshops and industry conferences. The role requires 3–6 years in non-ferrous casting, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in the non-ferrous casting world (process/quality, tooling design, or related).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across engineers to executives.
• Comfortable switching between sales, engineering projects, technical support, and education services.

Responsibilities

• Use MAGMASOFT software daily to deliver insights and solutions to non-ferrous customers.
• Cross train in other casting processes (e.g., high pressure die casting).
• Grow and support our customer base through technical expertise and sales activities.
• Collaborate with Application Managers on new sales opportunities.
• Create and present technical materials for internal meetings, customer presentations, training sessions, and industry conferences.
• Lead and support engineering projects and educational workshops.
• Act as a technical spokesperson in marketing videos, communicating concepts to customers and industry professionals.
• Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25% travel).
