Job summary

MAGMA, a global leader in the metalcasting industry, seeks an Iron Application Engineer to join our U.S. team and advance MAGMASOFT-based solutions for iron customers. The role combines engineering rigor with customer-facing activities and education programs.

You will deliver insights daily, support sales opportunities, travel up to 25%, and contribute to educational workshops while collaborating with MAGMA offices worldwide. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Use MAGMASOFT daily to deliver insights and solutions to Iron customers.
• Cross trained in areas related to steel and investment casting.
• Grow and support our customer base through technical expertise and sales activities.
• Collaborate with Application Managers on new sales opportunities.
• Create and confidentially present technical materials for internal meetings, customer presentations, training sessions, industry conferences, and reports.
• Lead and support engineering projects and educational workshops.
• Act as a technical spokesperson in marketing videos for social media, communicating engineering concepts clearly.
• Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Now we are looking for an Iron Application Engineer to join our U.S. team and help us continue advancing the future of metalcasting.

Salary Range $80,000 - $95,000

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Use MAGMASOFT ® software daily to deliver insights and solutions to Iron customers.
• Cross trained in areas related to steel and investment casting
• Grow and support our customer base through technical expertise and sales activities.
• Collaborate with Application Managers on new sales opportunities.
• Create and confidentially present technical materials for internal meetings, customer presentations, training sessions, industry conferences, and reports. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable with public speaking and effectively presents technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Lead and support engineering projects and educational workshops.
• Act as a technical spokesperson in marketing videos for social media, clearly communicating engineering concepts and product knowledge to customers and industry professionals.
• Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as needed. (Up to 25% travel)
