Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist in Florida. The role supports operative procedures by scrubbing, preparing instruments, and maintaining room readiness for subsequent patients.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, surgical technologist training, and two years OR experience; ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred. Compensation is USD 30.00–36.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course.
• Two years previous operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Training as surgical technologist in U.S. armed forces, National Guard or USPHS.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
