Vail Resorts in the Town of Vermont, Wisconsin is seeking Non-Certified Ski Instructors for the winter season 2026/2027. In this role, you will teach ski lessons to guests of all ages and provide exceptional service in a fun and safe environment. Job Specifications

• Starting wage: $20.00/hr (pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may earn more with additional teaching incentives)
• Employment type: Winter seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift type: Full‑time and part‑time (hours available; for full‑time instructors a 40‑hour workweek is not guaranteed; scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume)
• Minimum age: 16 years
• Housing availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
• Deliver world‑class guest service
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all needs of the snow sports school, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain
• Willingness to work with guests of all ages and be comfortable with children aged 3 and older
• Fluently communicate in English
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements
• Comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods of time
• Placement contingent upon completion of training and meeting minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
