Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a Non-Certified Surgical Technician to support the intraoperative team in pre-, intra-, and post-operative care at the Langhorne location. Responsibilities include maintaining the sterile field, assisting with gowning/gloving, and supporting the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a surgical technician training program, with a BLS certification and strong focus

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care is essential.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the sterile field and OR equipment.
• Maintain sterile field integrity and assist with gowning and gloving.
• Support postoperative care and hand-off reports to relief staff.
• Ensure safe, clean, and organized operating room environment.
• Provide input to enhance patient safety and care quality.
