Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Non-Certified Surgical Technician to support the intraoperative team. Hours: 11am - 7pm. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and safe, coordinated perioperative care.

You will help maintain the sterile field, assist with gowning and gloving, count instruments with the circulating nurse, and support decontamination and sterile supply areas to ensure efficient OR operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED or technical school graduate in surgical tech.
• Experience: 1 year; CEU requirements for non-certified techs.
• Licenses: BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect OR for cleanliness and secure/setup equipment and supplies.
• Assist gowning/gloving of surgical team and maintain sterile field.
• Provide thorough report to relief personnel on procedure status and supplies.
• Support decontamination and sterile supply areas; maintain safe environment.
