Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Non CDL Yard Hostler in West Deptford, NJ. The overnight role runs 12:00 AM–8:00 AM with flexible 2–5 days per week and 7 days per week coverage as needed. Pay ranges from $27.00 to $29.00 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits.

You will operate yard equipment, move and position trailers, perform safety checks, and coordinate with yard personnel to support operations. CDL not required; valid license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable yard hostling or yard jockey experience within the past 3 years.
• Experience operating a yard goat or similar yard tractor.
• Strong trailer maneuvering and backing skills in a transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible overnight schedules.
• Valid driver's license; CDL not required.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Driver Requirements

• Valid driver's license required; CDL not required.
• Ability to safely perform blindside backing and trailer positioning.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to yard operating procedures.
• Ability to operate yard equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available for overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts based on scheduling needs.
