Job summary

Capital Waste Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Non-CDL Driver (Mini Packer Operator) to operate a mini packer truck and perform residential, commercial, and municipal waste collection on assigned routes. This role requires obtaining a Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT) and maintaining a clean driving record.

You will service diverse customer sites, conduct pre-trip inspections, and adhere to safety policies while ensuring timely, accurate route execution.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical Card/Medical Certification).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability to meet company insurability requirements.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a mini packer truck on assigned collection routes.
• Service residential, commercial, and municipal customers according to established schedules.
• Collect and transport waste and recyclable materials to designated disposal facilities.
• Ensure all containers are emptied completely and returned to the proper location.
• Monitor route productivity and communicate service issues to supervisors or dispatch.
