Job summary

DJ’s Landscape Management is seeking a Seasonal Non-CDL Snow Salt Truck Driver in Comstock Park, MI. This part-time winter role requires driving salt trucks to field lots, monitor weather and parking surfaces, and perform snow removal tasks to meet customer specifications and safety standards.

No CDL? No problem—Chauffeur's License and MDOT credentials are supported by the company. Training is paid, and there are on-call night/day/holiday shifts to keep communities safe through harsh weather.

Qualifications

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots.
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response.
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and be able to work in extreme winter weather.

Team Member Benefits

• Competitive base pay: $24 - $26 per hour, depending on experience and license

Duration

• Position is available for the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

• Drive Non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response
• Play a vital role in keeping our community safe during winter
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid Chauffeurs License (company will assist in acquiring one)
• Smart Phone
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one)
