Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Seasonal Salt Truck Driver to cover winter operations in Michigan. No CDL? No problem—Chauffeur's License is all you need to join our team and help keep parking lots safe during snow and ice.

This is a part-time, seasonal role from November 15 to April 15 with on-call nights, holidays, and weekends. MDOT license assistance and training provided; must be 18+, reliable transport, and able to work in extreme weather.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Chauffeur's License (company will assist in acquiring one).
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one).

Responsibilities

• Drive non CDL salt trucks to distribute salt and de-icing materials on commercial parking lots.
• Monitor weather conditions and parking lot surfaces to ensure timely response.
• Play a vital role in keeping the community safe during winter.
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Submit details of hours, activities and materials in an accurate and timely manner.
• Complete all training, onboarding, snow removal safety, and route learning.
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed.

Duration

• Position is available for the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with opportunities for full-time positions based on performance and business needs.
