Job summary

SRS Building Products is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites from our Fort Thomas, KY location. The role includes vehicle inspections, inventory verification, and safe forklift use to protect material integrity.

Ideal candidates will have a valid non-CDL license, DOT medical card, and be comfortable working independently in varying weather conditions while prioritizing safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (18 minimum for employment).
• Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs in 3 years, no suspensions in 5 years, max 2 violations/accidents in 18 months).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
• Screenings: Must pass a drug test, background check, and hold a current DOT medical card (for vehicles 10,001 lbs+).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of building materials to job sites.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting maintenance needs.
• Verify and manage inventory, including loading and unloading materials, to guarantee correct delivery quantities.
• Utilize forklifts safely and effectively for loading and unloading processes, maintaining material integrity.
• Maintain communication with managers and team members to resolve logistical challenges promptly.
