SRS Building Products - Columbus is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials to job sites, focusing on contractors, with accuracy, safety, and customer service at the forefront.

The role requires a valid non-CDL license, a DOT medical card, and 1–2 years of driving experience. Forklift certification is preferred. This on-road role offers competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (18 minimum for employment).
• Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs in 3 years, no suspensions in 5 years, max 2 violations/accidents in 18 months).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
• Screenings: Must pass a drug test, background check, and hold a current DOT medical card (for vehicles 10,001 lbs+).
• Preferred: Forklift certification; driving experience 1–2 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of building materials to job sites, adhering to safety protocols and route plans.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs.
• Verify and manage inventory, loading and unloading materials to prevent damage.
• Operate forklifts safely for loading/unloading to maintain material integrity.
• Engage with customers on-site with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain communication with managers to resolve logistical challenges.
• Adhere to safety standards and document delivery processes, including photographic evidence.
