Job summary

SRS Building Products - Erie is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely and efficiently deliver building materials to job sites around Erie, PA. You will verify orders, inspect vehicles, and maintain strong customer service while upholding safety standards.

You will also assist with warehouse tasks, document deliveries with photos, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old or 18+ in some states.
• Must hold a valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean record and DOT requirements.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify).
• Pass drug test and background check; DOT medical card required for 10,001 lbs+ vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time, following safety protocols and route plans.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs.
• Verify inventory and manage loading/unloading; prevent damage during transit.
• Operate forklifts safely for loading/unloading; maintain workflow efficiency.
• Interact professionally with customers on-site; address questions and concerns.
• Maintain communication with managers to resolve delivery challenges.
