Job summary

SRS Building Products - Jackson in Jackson, MS seeks a CDL Driver to deliver building materials to job sites, inspect vehicles, and maintain safety and service standards. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and professionalism while supporting operations and building strong customer relationships through timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

Qualified candidates will have CDL and required DOT/FMCSA certifications, forklift capability, and the ability to handle up to 100 lbs;

Qualifications

• Valid CDL class A or B with air brakes endorsement and clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• CDL Drivers must be physically capable of long hours driving and handling materials up to 100 lbs, loading/unloading with forklifts or manually, in varied weather and noisy environments.
