Job summary

SRS Building Products - Hatboro, PA seeks a Non-CDL Driver to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of building materials to job sites, with a focus on customer service and on-time performance.

The role requires pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading/unloading with forklifts, and strict adherence to safety and DOT regulations. You will support branch operations and inventory control while working with local customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (18 minimum for employment).
• Valid non-CDL driver's license with a clean record (no DUIs in 3 years, no suspensions in 5 years, max 2 violations/accidents in 18 months).
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
• Must pass a drug test, background check, and hold a current DOT medical card (for vehicles 10,001 lbs+).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of building materials to job sites, adhering to safety protocols and route plans.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs.
• Verify and manage inventory, including loading/unloading to ensure correct quantities.
• Operate forklifts safely for loading/unloading and maintain material integrity.
• Engage professionally with customers on-site to deliver excellent service.
• Communicate with managers and teammates to resolve logistical challenges.
• Follow corporate and regulatory safety standards and contribute to a safety culture.
• Document delivery processes and capture photographic evidence of deliveries.
