We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Paratransit Operator to join our elite team in Baltimore, Maryland. As a key member you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute flawless operations transporting passengers throughout Baltimore and the surrounding area in a safe and courteous manner, following designated routes and schedules, and adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Greet passengers, ensure fare payment, exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
- Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting maintenance issues, and maintaining highest cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies rigorously, encompassing seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 20 years or older
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- A valid Maryland Driver's License
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
- Must have a satisfactory driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Availability to work days, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts as assigned
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical, including pre-employment and random drug screens.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
Physical Requirements
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions.
- Sit for extended periods of time, ability to walk on varying terrains including sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50-100 pounds.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Bend, kneel, or crouch to assist passengers as needed.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
