Job summary

Charlie’s Produce in Bend, OR is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely distribution of fresh produce to Central Oregon customers. This full-time role starts early with a 5 AM schedule and requires attention to invoices, loading/unloading, and exceptional customer service.

You will operate with a Class C (Non-CDL) license, pass background checks, and work in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment that values dependable performance and community impact.

Qualifications

• Be 23 yrs. or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class C (Non-CDL) license and medical card Interstate qualification, registered.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
• Load and unload product from trailer.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues.
• Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment.
• Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate.
• All other duties as requested or assigned.

Insurance Requirements

Compensation Details:

• Potential 90-day performance-based raise.
• Annual review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

Job Description

Schedule: 5AM start time, Monday/Saturday off (split days).
