Job summary

Charlie’s Produce is seeking a Full-Time Class A Driver based in Bend, Oregon. The role entails the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout Central Oregon. Candidates must be at least 23 years old, possess a valid Class A CDL, and have at least one year of driving experience.

Insurance Requirements

To be eligible for this role, candidates must be at least 23 years of age and have at least one (1) full year of driving experience operating a Class A vehicle for insurance purposes.

Bonus Eligibility

Must be hired between March 16th-June 1st as a Full‑Time Class A Driver and meet other eligibility criteria.

Schedule

Typical dispatch times are between 12 AM and 2 AM.

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout Central Oregon.

Essential Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

• Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries.
• Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack.
• Attention to detail in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery.
• Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers.
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team‑oriented, and customer‑focused attitude with colleagues.
• Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment.
• Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate.
• All other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• Candidates must have at least one (1) full year of verifiable experience operating a Class A vehicle for insurance purposes.
• Must be at least 23 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card.
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift.
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.
• Satisfactory driving record.
