Job Summary

The Driver I, Straight Truck operates vehicles to support the organization’s mission.

Essential Functions

1. Operate trucks for various assignments such as home pick-ups, ADC runs, store deliveries, etc.
2. Maintain communication with the Home Pick-up Service office via cellular or radio.
3. Ensure vehicle maintenance is performed and report deficiencies; maintain fuel and oil records.
4. For house call pickups, complete and issue donation receipts.
5. For store deliveries, handle materials properly and adhere to schedules.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Two years of truck driving with a safe record.

• Ability to use a two-wheel dolly.
• Read and follow maps/GPS.
• Effective communication in English.
