U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) seeks a motivated Non-CDL Driver for the Kearny, NJ area. You will safely deliver to job sites, pick up from the central distribution center, and ensure accurate logs and paperwork while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT medical card, and proven customer service and driving experience. Join a team of 2,000+ employees across 150 locations in a company with a century of electrical industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Strong independence and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card required.
• Customer service and driving experience.
• Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from Central Distribution Center and transfer to branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance daily; ensure loading and driver logs.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and complete required paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays during delivery route.
• Complete documentation for deliveries including logs and signatures.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations.
• Inform management of delays or problems as they occur.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Non-CDL Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Kearny, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
