Job summary

Yale Electric Supply, An affiliate of USESI, in Trenton, NJ, is seeking a motivated Driver to join our delivery team. This full-time role delivers electrical goods to customers, adheres to safety and DOT requirements, and supports daily operations.

The successful candidate will possess a valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and strong customer service and driving experience. Join a nationwide family of electrical distributors with great benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and DOT medical card.
• Delivery driving experience and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of customers.
• Willing to operate warehouse equipment as needed.
• Independent and reliable with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance daily.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and complete required paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays during delivery routes.
• Complete delivery documentation, logs, and customer signatures.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Yale Electric Supply, An affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in our Trenton, NJ location.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Must be strongly independent
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
