Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is seeking a Driver in Cranbury, NJ to perform local deliveries and material pickups from our Central Distribution Center. The role emphasizes safe driving, timely paperwork, and strong customer service across branch locations.

This full-time position requires independent work and adherence to DOT regulations; OT shifts and daytime coverage are available to support operations and on-time customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and DOT medical card.
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Strong customer service and independent work style.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of customers.
• Proficient in safe driving and basic vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Cranbury, NJ

Job Type: Full-time. Overnight, Early AM and Daytime shifts available!!

Key Responsibilities:

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
