U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) in Springfield, MA is seeking a motivated Driver to join our team. You will make local deliveries to job sites, pick up material from our Central Distribution Center, and ensure safe, professional handling of all shipments.

The role requires a valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and experience operating a 26-foot box truck. Candidates should be independent, customer-service oriented, and able to communicate with all levels of customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Deliver local and branch deliveries safely and professionally.
• Pickup material from Central Distribution Center and transfer to the branch.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicle safety and maintenance daily, ensure proper loading and driver logs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and complete required paperwork.
• Report delays or issues to dispatcher during routes.
• Documentation for deliveries including logs and signatures.
• Report vehicle defects or accidents and notify management.

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Springfield, MA.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
