Y. Hata & Co. is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate refrigerated trucks along assigned routes in Hawaiʻi, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of grocery products.

Responsibilities include payment collection, reporting discrepancies, customer service, and routine vehicle inspections. The role requires two years of route delivery experience, one year in distribution/warehousing, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Two years of delivery route experience and familiarity with local roadways within the route area.
• One year of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the food-service industry.
• Must possess a clean driving abstract.

• Operates delivery vehicles to deliver food items, beverages, paper products, and cleaning supplies to customer's place of business.
• Unloads products from delivery vehicles using a pallet truck, cart, or hand truck, and places stock on customer's shelves or racks.
• Preserves product quality and minimizes damages during delivery.
• Collects checks from customers and records transactions on customer receipt and delivery records.
• Writes and reports any damages or discrepancies in orders delivered.
• Collects or picks up empty containers, pallets or rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Performs daily inspection of truck and general maintenance, including fueling and cleaning.
• Adheres to all Federal and State driver guidelines.
• Performs similar and related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Uses the Company's Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.

Pay Range: $19 to $23 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM with Saturday rotations

Position Summary Description:

Safely operates refrigerated trucks on assigned delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of grocery products to customer locations. Duties include: payment collection, order discrepancy reporting, customer service and issue resolution, as well as conducting daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks in compliance with company and safety standards.

Physical Demands:
