Job summary

Y. Hata & Co., Limited in Hawaii seeks a Warehouse Associate to operate a forklift and move palletized products through the warehouse. A High School Diploma or GED and about one year of distribution or warehouse experience are preferred.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, with a culture focused on community, growth, safety, and comprehensive benefits within a family-owned business.

Qualifications

• One year experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

• Operates lift truck or other equipment to receive product into the warehouse.
• Transports palletized products to proper warehouse slots.
• Replenishes primary pick slots from secondary pick slots.
• May assist in receiving area or with will call orders.
• Follows established safety standards for proper food handling and date rotation procedures.
• Responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
