Description

Position at Jarco Supply, a Colony division

This position is for a Delivery Driver (no CDL required) to assist PART-TIME primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. You will operate a 24' flatbed vehicle, strap down material to secure it, and make deliveries to customer locations, including construction project sites. The schedule is from 7am to around 4pm on these days.

A Day in Your Life

• Responsible for pickup and delivery of merchandise in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• Load vehicles with building products, supplies, materials, and packed orders; organize and secure merchandise.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, organizing, loading/unloading, and inventory counts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and equipment.
• Check in with customers to announce arrival, collect payments, and obtain signatures.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Commercial Driver’s License (A or B) is a plus but not required.
• Prior forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
