Job Title: Experienced Baggage Handler – RDU Airport, NC
Shift: 7-Days a week
Type: Full Time / Part Time

List of General Responsibilities:
- Duties can and will fluctuate pending airport/terminal location and client
- Assist agents with their luggage at the ticket counter
- Assist agents with oversized luggage from the conveyor belt
- Place luggage on the conveyor belts to assist ticketing agents in preparation for screening of luggage
- Handle oversized luggage
- Possess empathetic abilities in dealing with passengers and their needs
- Follow all safety rules
- Complete shift using proper protocols & safety procedures
- Escort vendors, students, or contractors
- Assist upper management or clients
- Courier/distribute items varied from catered food, supplies, merchandise & furniture
- Refill water tanks in the properly assigned offices/rooms
- Replace and dispose of trash bags in the properly assigned offices and rooms
- Dispense disinfectant spray using and operating fog machine
Minor Responsibilities:
- Observe and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to their supervisor or proper authority
- May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on supervisor/manager’s needs or airline activity
- Report any required maintenance or needed repairs to supervisor
- Relay information regarding events or situations that may affect operations to supervisor
Working Conditions:
- May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, and bend throughout the course of a shift
- Must possess a professional image and attitude
- Must be flexible to work scheduled and non-scheduled hours as required
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
