Ramp Agent/PT - OAJ-Delta-Full Handling/RD2AGT

Base Pay Rate: $15.00

Employment Type: Part Time

Exempt Status: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Shift start at 09:00 PM, Monday through Sunday (Overnight shift)

Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
2. Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, and mail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
3. Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials safely.
4. Operate pushback equipment and coordinate with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
5. Record and receive customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials.
6. Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, and maintain related records.
7. Operate motorized equipment such as belt loaders, lift trucks, pushback tugs, and carts, or manually handle carts and containers.
8. Complete paperwork and enter data into the company's information system.
9. Perform other duties as assigned within skill and experience levels.

Qualifications

• Must be a resident of North Carolina.
• Valid in-state driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a 10-year background check.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport security ID.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 70 pounds regularly and 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Able to work in cramped or elevated environments and carry heavy items up and down stairs.
• High School diploma or GED required; 1+ year relevant experience preferred.
